AvaWatz wins US Army contract

AvaWatz is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract by the United States Army to develop software architecture for collaborative teaming between unmanned ground and aerial vehicles.

The architecture enables teams to conduct complex long-duration exploration and surveillance missions in a variety of difficult operational environments.

This project builds on AvaWatz’s existing capabilities in Collaborative Mobile Robotics, and the resulting system will be used to power a variety of applications including large-scale infrastructure monitoring, perimeter security, geological survey and exploration, and emergency response and disaster recovery.

Preinstalled AvaWatz software performs the required tasks. These foundational functions include team navigation, computer vision, information sharing, and group decision-making.

Our airborne and ground-based Cobots collaborate in real-time to accomplish complex tasks in hazardous environments.
